EDUTAINMENT AS A NEW TREND IN LANGUAGE ACQUSITION

Abstract

In this article, global trends in language learning in the 21st century are given and one of them how “Edutainment” helps school and university students are discussed. Edutainment technology was introduced into the process of teaching English to students based on several electronic resources and gadgets. The differences between edutainment tools for young and teenage students are given as an example of English language teaching. Interactive ways of classroom management and new teaching methods instead of simple traditional lessons are considered as more helpful ones for students. In order to avoid boring lessons, young scholars and pedagogics are recommending interactive ways of language skills.
