Abstract

The Cover Feature illustrates the variety of nitrogen bases that can participate in noncovalent bonds of all sorts. These interactions include hydrogen, halogen, chalcogen, and pnicogen bonds. The nitrogen bases diminish in nucleophilicity from linear sp hybridization, to planar sp2, to tetrahedral sp3 arrangements. More information can be found in the Research Article by Akhtam Amonov and Steve Scheiner.
