Abstract

The review describes modern methods of plasty of postoperative ventral hernias. The spectrum of complications characteristic of each type of plastic surgery, as well as the frequency of hernia recurrence, is presented. The issues of etiopathogenesis of hernias of the anterior abdominal wall are covered.
