THE RESULT OF INTENSIVE THERAPY OF MULTIPLE ORGAN FAILURE IN BURNED

ABI

Abstract

Multiple organ failure syndrome complicates the course of many diseases and critical conditions and is the maincause of mortality. The course of burn disease is accompanied by multiple organ disorders, however, in severely burned patients, this syndrome is practically not covered in domestic and foreign literature, its pathogenesis, structure, features of clinical and morphological manifestations have not been studied. The structures of MOF were studied in 210 patients (average age 25.5±5.4 years) with deep burns of more than 25% of the body surface and burn shock of I-II-III degree. The introduction of advanced complex intensive infusiontransfusion therapy, the use of organoprotective therapy, as well as correction of the burdened premorbid background, nutritional support facilitates the course of shock, reduces the number of patients with multiple organ failure and mortality in severely burned. Thanks to the application of the principles of intensive therapy during the period of MOF in patients with burn shock, we managed to reduce mortality from 9.6 (in 2010) to 2.8% (in 2022).
