Abstract
The phenomenon of hyponymy is a "generic" (hyperhyponymic) relationship that forms the basis of semantic fields at the lexical level. When members are combined into nests, nests into larger groups, groups into groups, and groups into semantic fields, gender-species relations arise. In the complex structure of the field hierarchy, hypernyms act as loops. This phenomenon can be applied on the basis of animal husbandry terms, which are an integral part of the animal husbandry macrosystem. In general, the phenomenon of hyponymy, the use of the method of words and phrases in the expression of generic relations has ample opportunities in the system of terms for cattle.
