Abstract

In this article, from a linguistic perspective, "prank" is considered as an object of forensic linguistics, and the opinions of scientists who have considered this linguistic phenomenon are given. The conceptual apparatus of prank is given, its form and consequences for society, responsibility before the law, since it is necessary to understand that modern Internet technologies and social networks, audio-video materials demonstrated in them should not be used as a means of violating the rights, dignity, personality of other people adversely affect their health and psyche.
