Abstract

Calculations performed to determine the strength of stilling basin and apron of the downstream zone should mainly be carried out taking into account the conditions of their stability and strength. When calculating the elements of the fastening zone for strength and stability, it is advisable to take into account vertical and moment hydrodynamic stresses.
