Abstract

This article describes the content and nature of the institution of parliamentary investigation recognized in the legislation of foreign democratic states. Also, described the legal basis of the parliamentary inquiry established in the new version of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted in the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article analyzes the activities of the commission on parliamentary investigation, its powers, the procedure for conducting the investigation, and the measures to be taken at the end. At the same time, issues such as the role of parliamentary control in the practice of foreign countries, the procedure for its implementation, and its legal basis were discussed.
