Abstract

This article analyses the comparison of semantic and linguocultural features of English and Uzbek national proverbs and sayings of the notion of laziness. It also reveals the structural formulae that are common to a wide range of languages and the proverbs generally have a shared syntactic architecture as well as a similar core-set of values and morals.
