Abstract

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is an urgent problem of modern medicine, which is primarily due to the high prevalence and large economic losses for the state [20]. COPD continues to hold the fourth place among the causes of death of the adult population [17], and the incidence rates are increasing annually. Intrahospital mortality in the exacerbation of the severe form of this disease reaches 29% [3]. COPD is a disease with a comorbid component. COPD polymorbidity includes cardiovascular pathology, diabetes mellitus (DM), depression, lung cancer, osteoporosis, etc. [7].
