Algorithms for Optimization of Operation Modes of Electric Power Systems Under Conditions of Information Uncertainty
Abstract
The article considers optimization methods of operation modes of electric power systems, considering probabilistic factors. The problems related to the uncertainty of initial data, dynamic changes in the system, and the influence of random external factors on the transmission and consumption of electricity are studied. Special attention is paid to improving technological processes for controlling power flows in the network. The existing control systems do not sufficiently account for uncertainties, which reduces the quality of system operation. As a solution, it is proposed to improve the software and algorithmic base of control based on modern intellectual technologies. This will increase the adaptability of the system and minimize active power losses, which will improve the overall efficiency of electric power systems under conditions of data uncertainty. The article emphasizes the need for a more comprehensive approach to optimization, including the analysis of the interaction between the processes of transmission and consumption of energy resources to improve the efficiency of management of power industry facilities.
