Abstract

The main task of rabbit breeding as well as other areas of animal husbandry is to increase the quality and quantity of obtaining product without economical damage. For implementing this task using various type of biologically active additives widely spread, but also researching the effect of this bioactive additives on animal organism and obtaining products has a significant role on developing of this industry. Because of this the aim of investigation was to study the effect of plant origin bioactive additive – Chlorella algae on rabbits’ growth, live weight and quality of obtaining meat through assessing organoleptic and physicochemical attributes according to state standards.
