An Intensive Review and Assessment of Impacts of AI in the Field of Teaching(Edu)
Abstract
The deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been huge in the recent past years, and potentially, the changes might be very high in all areas of higher education. This paper undertakes an attempt to explore the multifaceted impacts of AI on the scope of teaching and learning in higher education, aiming at reaching a comprehensive view of potential implications. Rapid development at present of AI technologies and their penetration into various social spheres make it increasingly important that educators, policymakers, and stakeholders clearly understand what impacts they are bringing and will bring to the educational paradigms. The use of AI in higher education covers everything from personalized learning experiences to the highest administrative efficiencies. One of the most important effects related to personalized learning is the fact that it produces AI-driven algorithms that can use, analyze, and adopt great datasets with respect to fine-tuning educational content and how the very content is delivered to the individual student. It aids in engaging the students more effectively in difficult concepts and active learning, while having further understanding on such topics that eventually increases the learning outcome. Second, with AI-empowered learning platforms, adaptive assessment techniques are possible, which provide educators a dynamic, more responsive space to measure student learning progress and provide feedback. Second, the space of research and development of education has been under the influence of AI technologies.
