Improvement of the Method of Automatic Determination of the Condition of the Railway Crossing
Abstract
This article discusses the scheme, operation algorithm, signaling scheme and detection methods for automatic detection of loads falling from cars passing by a railway crossing and stalled cars. the principle of operation of the signaling system of the railway crossing indicates that the movement composition approaching the railway crossing cannot receive information about dropped loads and stalled cars from cars passing the railway crossing. This can pose a danger to the train and cars approaching the railway crossing. the article describes the method of identifying the object at the railway crossing based on the artificial neural network using the data obtained from the tensometric sensor. Algorithms of the system that ensures the safety of the movement of different types of trains at railway crossings at the station, as well as by connecting the system of determining the status of the railway crossing with the automatic signaling system of the crossing, the waiting time of motor vehicles at the railway crossing leads to an increase in fuel consumption.
