Abstract
The article empirically studies the level of implementation and dissemination of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles in Russian companies. The study is based on the analysis of non-financial reports of 109 companies for 2022, representing various sectors of the economy. The key focus is on assessing ESG metrics, which, according to the research results, remain unevenly integrated despite the progress in the field of ESG. Many companies are actively introducing ESG components, but a significant proportion of them are at an early stage of this process. The findings highlight the need to further strengthen the ESG agenda in Russian companies and can serve as a basis for further research in this area.
