Abstract

A honeypot is a security tool designed to collect information from and protect against attackers, and is widely used in monitoring and analyzing cyberattacks. Honeypots use several methods to attract attackers, and these methods are carefully designed to work effectively. Using a honeypot professionally requires a combination of technical compatibility, realistic services, and psychological manipulation. This article describes and analyzes the methods that can be used to lure attackers into a system, identify their behavior, and collect detailed information about their attack methods.
