Abstract

IT and CS are critical for economic growth and societal development. This article examines the status and challenges of IT and CS education in Central Asia, with a focus on Uzbekistan. We explore the role of UNESCO's initiatives in promoting digital literacy and advancing educational standards in the region. By analyzing the current landscape and reviewing relevant literature, we discuss the opportunities and obstacles in enhancing IT and CS education in Uzbekistan and the broader Central Asian context.
