Abstract

The result of this research is the development of algorithms for generating and reading color code patterns for dynamic low-bit-rate data transmission to generate color QR code. This new model will also use existing techniques such as compaction, multiplexing and layering. A new type of color QR code is generated through this study, which will improve its efficiency. Color codes are usually created to encode digital data, but they can also be used as color calibration charts by applying different color distributions. In this dataset, we provide several thousand QR code illustrations generated using two different color processing methods (accident and backward-compatible), each with different parameter settings in color identification. These QR codes were subjected to three different channel conditions: unmodified, augmented and real environments. In addition, we calculate the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and bit error rate (BER) for these QR codes, comparing them with traditional black and white versions. Finally, we evaluate the ability of ZBar, a commercial QR code scanner, to accurately read color codes.
