Abstract

In this work by the reaction of derivatives of benzoic acid containing substituents in the aromatic ring with vinyl acetate in the presence2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine (CDMT) vinyl esters of aromatic carboxylic acids have been synthesized. The influence of the nature of the initial compounds, temperature, zinc trifluoromethyl-sulfonate (Zn(OTf)2), dilithium 3,3′-diphenylbinaphtholate (3,3′-Ph2BINOL-2Li), tertiary potassium butylate (KOtrBu), butyllithium (BuLi) on the yield of synthesized compounds was investigated. The structure of the synthesized vinyl esters was proved by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopies
