Abstract
The article presents a mathematical model of non-stationary process of separation and sorting of bulk mixtures when constrained motion of particles on the surface of a vibrating sieve, described by differential equations in partial derivatives and the corresponding initial and boundary conditions, on the basis of maintaining the balance of forces acting on the particles. To solve this problem developed numerical algorithm and software for carrying out computational experiments on a computer. The results of the numerical calculations for different values of the input parameters of the process and the results are illustrated in the form of graphical objects.
