Abstract

The effect of bitumen conforming to the requirements of GOST 22245-90 and unusable bitumen with polymer sulfur in different mass ratios was studied and the optimal conditions were determined. Physico-mechanical properties of modified sulfur bitumen were studied. Chemical substances were used in sulfur modification. Chemical substances were used in the modification of sulfur. After obtaining sulfur bitumen, its composition was studied and compared with ordinary bitumen. As a result of research, it was found that adding sulfur to the bitumen in the amount of 20% and 30% significantly improves the properties of the obtained sulfur bitumen.
