Abstract

Non-functional pituitary adenomas (NFPA) are the most common type of pituitary macroadenomas, accounting for 25–35% of all cases [1]. They are usually benign, but many infiltrate the sphenoid sinus, cavernous sinus, or dura mater and cannot be completely removed by surgical resection.
