Abstract

The article highlighted the analysis of attitudes with regard to migration from migrants’ point of view. The main purpose of the research was to identify major reasons why people migrated from Uzbekistan to other countries. An expanded q analysis, which was designed to incorporate both qualitative and quantitative data, was used to find out common patterns in migrants’ attitudes. The outcomes of the research add to results from previous studies that those who migrate are not the poorer and the less educated but those that have enough income and education to migrate.
