Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop numerical algorithms for solving seismodynamics problems of an extended underground pipeline interacting with the ground according to the Coulomb-Amonton dry friction model for a long wave of different shapes. The finite-difference scheme with logical algorithm for determining the moments of start and end times of sliding in each point of the pipeline is constructed. The obtained numerical solution of the test problem is compared with its analytical solution.Laws of wave formation in the pipeline under the influence of waves of different shapes are determined. If wave velocity in the ground exceeds the speed of wave propagation in the pipeline, then in case of ground particles velocity jump at the wave front in the pipeline, a wave with different values behind the front is generated, further the values of particle velocities are the same.If there is no particle velocity jump at the wave front in the ground, then the particle velocity values are the same in the ground and in the pipeline when reaching the steady state mode.
