Abstract

In engineering applications for determining natural frequencies during vibrations and critical forces in stability problems, an important place is occupied by the numerical implementation of spectral problems.In this paper, we propose a numerical approach to solving the differential problem in spectral problems for non-self-adjoint operators.As an example, the problem of determining critical compressive forces and torques in rods is considered.
