Abstract

YouTube is the most popular social network and it has many advantages,espicially when learninga foreign language. This article focuses on the development of speaking competence on the YouTube socialnetwork.The comments in the article show that YouTube helps 7 grade students improve their speechcompetence, and it increases their interest in learning a foreign language, because students can use theirsmartphones to watch YouTube videos at any place and time
