Econometric Model of Electric Power Sector’s Development in Uzbekistan
Abstract
The article is aimed at building an econometric model of sustainable development in the energy system of Uzbekistan. The peculiarities of the organizational and economic mechanism are analyzed. The paper locates the place of the sustainable development mechanism in the system of functioning of an industrial enterprise in today’s digital economy. We analyze the Concept Note on the Provision of Electricity in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2020-2030 and adopted legislative acts of the country. Factors influencing the implementation of major programs for the development of thermal power plants are identified and recommendations are given for their use for the further progress of the energy industry. The article gives directions for sustainable development of energy system in Uzbekistan in the period of 2022-2026.
