Abstract
This article presents the results of a study carried out to optimize the process of filling the inner surface of cocoons with process water in a domestically produced universal vacuum-steaming device. Optimization was carried out according to the definition of a second-order polynomial Regression Multifactor Model (RMM) based on the results of the Rotatable Central Composition Experiment (RCCE). For this purpose, experiments were carried out in several versions on a universal vacuum-steaming device at different water temperatures and steaming durations. Keywords. Cocoons, vacuum, universal, optimal, parameter, raw silk, steaming, experiment, factor, temperature, duration, preparation, unwinding, sericin.
