Abstract
Paraphrasing, or rephrasing material in other terms while holding the original meaning, is a complex task that requires a deep understanding of the semantics of the language. The Uzbek language is especially demanding language because of its unique grammatical characteristics. This study examines the accuracy of rule-based paraphrasing algorithms in preserving semantic coherence when dealing with Uzbek texts. The emphasis is on how these algorithms handle the lexical and syntactic transformations required for accurate and contextually appropriate rephrasing of Uzbek literature.
