Abstract
The article deals with the analysis of the state of entrepreneurship in Russia and China based on two international ratings: Doing Business and Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM).According to the Doing Business project, statutory regulation of entrepreneurship in Russia makes doing business a little bit easier, however, the dynamics of indicators in China ensures their faster and more sustainable growth.An analysis of the GEM main indicator -Total early-stage entrepreneurial activity index (TEA) indicates a higher level of entrepreneurial activity of Chinese population, despite the observed increase in TEM in Russia and a slight decrease of this indicator in China.
