Abstract

Periodontitis is a prevalent inflammatory disease affecting the supporting structures of teeth, leading to tissue destruction and tooth loss. The conditioning of periodontal tissues is crucial for the management and treatment of this condition. This article reviews the pathophysiology of periodontitis, the importance of periodontal tissue conditioning, and various therapeutic approaches aimed at restoring periodontal health. Emphasis is placed on current research findings and clinical implications.
