International activities of Uzbekistan universities on the example of the university of world economy and diplomacy, Tashkent state eastern university
Abstract
The article considers the international activities of universities using the example of two leading universities of Uzbekistan: the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Tashkent State Eastern University. The author analyzes the development of educational integration and its importance in the modern world. It is noted that internationalization is one of the leading trends in modern social development and reflects the idea of openness of education and science in the modern world. The author draws attention to the importance of education export. The export of educational services contributes to: firstly, improving the quality of education; secondly, increasing the income of prestigious universities; thirdly, unification of educational standards; fourthly, mobility of teachers, doctoral students, master's students, students; fifthly, as well as increasing the competitiveness and quality of education; sixthly, expanding the knowledge bank in partner universities through cooperation. In the modern period, the export of education, in addition to the economic component, also has a political component as "soft power". The article presents the forms of international activity of UWED and TSU. However, the author concludes that this level does not meet the requirements of today and it is necessary to intensify this activity within the framework of the CIS and SCO.
