Abstract

This article analyzes the formation, stages of development, and the significance of pharmacodynamics as a branch of pharmacology. The essence of pharmacodynamic processes, the mechanisms of drug action through receptors, enzymes, ion channels, and other biological targets are discussed. The paper also highlights modern pharmacodynamic research trends, including molecular, genetic, and artificial intelligence–based approaches, as well as their importance in medical practice.
