Abstract

This article analyzed a systematic analysis of the views of Turkish educator-psychologist Saniye Benjik Kangal on play-based learning, the organization of a developmental environment, and the formation of emotional intelligence in children. The scholar’s approach is distinguished by the integration of principles from Montessori and Reggio Emilia pedagogy, as well as key tenets of Eastern upbringing. The aim of the study is to present Kangal’s pedagogical concept on a scientific basis and to identify possibilities for its application in the preschool education process.
