Abstract
In this article, the need, methods, and essence of using information technologies in the teaching of technology are considered. As a result of the development of computers, information communication technologies and multimedia tools, the possibilities of working with text, graphics, animation, sound and video elements, various graphic schemes, and the creation and introduction of electronic teaching-methodical manuals into the educational process have increased, as well as the significant contribution of Internet networks and libraries.
