Abstract

This article is aimed at determining the theoretical and methodological foundations of the concept of media competence in pedagogic students. The research was based on the methods of content analysis, comparative-conceptual analysis and review of normative documents. As a result, the structural components and indicators of media competence were systematized and an operational definition for pedagogical education was proposed. Scientific innovation was expressed in the model of integration of media competence with didactic tasks.
