The image of Tomaris in the pages of history

Abstract

"The role of women in society, in particular, the life and heroism of Tomaris, the ruler of the Massagets, has been recorded in history and continues to inspire admiration to this day. The image of Tomaris has been passed down from generation to generation in sources, visual art works and stage performances for centuries. Her image as a princess and a warlord was always considered and respected in the works of poets, artists, writers and jurists as a symbol of justice. The article recounts the exploits of Tomaris and her various images created by European creative artists."
