Abstract

This chapter provides insights into the various views associated with the future of the events and festivals segments of the tourism industry following the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. It introduces a framework designed to assist the establishment of a resilient and sustainable tourism recovery plan post-COVID-19. It is argued that a good recovery plan will continually reinforce the positive strengths and minimize current and future vulnerabilities to make the system sustainable.
