Abstract

The study proposes an improved mathematical model of the distribution of harmful substances in the atmosphere, taking into account such factors as particle diameter, wind speed, and temperature. The article also studied the influence of meteorological conditions on the distribution of substances that change the turbulence and stability of the atmosphere. For the numerical solution of the mathematical model, advection-diffusion equations and finite-difference methods were used to describe the processes of distribution of harmful substances in the atmospheric air. The influence of terrain on the spatial distribution of harmful substances is studied. It is determined how the integration of real meteorological data improves the accuracy of air pollution modeling. It is established that taking into account chemical and physical factors significantly affects the results of pollution forecasting. A numerical solution with specified boundary conditions is formed, ensuring the stability and reliability of the model. A software tool has been developed that allows the use of an improved mathematical model in environmental forecasting and monitoring systems. The results obtained using the developed software tool serve to improve the environmental condition and make management decisions. In general, the proposed mathematical model and software tool allow a comprehensive assessment of the level of atmospheric pollution by toxic substances and predict the routes of distribution of harmful substances.
