Abstract

This article presents a linguistic and pragmatic analysis of political discourse, focusing on its communicative functions and illocutionary acts. It discusses key speech act theory concepts and categorizes illocutionary acts into assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative types. The study analyzes political speeches from Uzbekistan, highlighting their social influence and communicative strategies. Additionally, the article explores the use of artificial intelligence techniques for automatic annotation of political speeches, improving the precision and efficiency of discourse analysis. This research provides insights into the evolving nature of political communication and the integration of computational methods in linguistic studies.
