The Political Cooperation Between Bukhara Emirate and Iran
Abstract
The presented article is devoted to the analysis of geopolitical events that took place in the territory of modern Central Asia and the Middle East. In particular, based on a meticulous analysis of sources, as well as scientific research, an analysis of political cooperation between the Bukhara Emirate and Iran was carried out. The work mentions that the latest rulers of the Bukhara Khanate and are given the reasons that resulted from the rise to power of representatives of the local Mangyt clan. The article notes that internal political instability in the Bukhara Khanate, characterized by the lack of authority among the emirs from the Ashtrakhanid dynasty, created the conditions for its conquest by the Sefevids ruler of Iran, as well as for the transfer of power into the hands of the new Mangyt dynasty. At the same time, the relationship between the first representatives of the mangyt dynasty and the Sefevids are shown, which consisted in sending a diplomatic mission in order to recognize their submission to Nadir Shah. Information is also provided on the further political interaction of the Bukhara Emirate during the reign of the Mangyts and Iran. An analysis of the relationship between the Bukhara Emirate and the Russian Empire, the Ottomans and Afghanistan are carried out and the geopolitical situation of that period around the emirate is shown.
