Abstract

This article examines practical methods for fostering communicative competence in Uzbek language lessons specifically designed for medical students. It emphasizes the importance of developing students' ability to use professional and everyday Uzbek language in real-life medical contexts, such as doctor-patient communication, writing medical reports, and collaborating with colleagues. The study explores interactive teaching strategies like simulations, role-plays, case studies, and scenario-based learning tailored to the medical field. It also highlights the role of specialized vocabulary and cultural-linguistic appropriateness in building communicative fluency. The paper offers methodological recommendations to help language instructors create effective and relevant learning experiences for future healthcare professionals.
