Abstract
Discusses the concept of quadratic form, reducing the quadratic form to its canonical form, finding eigenvalues and eigenvectors of quadratic form, the concept of positive definiteness of quadratic form, and the concept of negative definiteness of quadratic form. The law of inertia for quadratic forms is given. In addition, a linear model of exchange using a structural matrix of trade is considered
