Abstract
Models of roll contact lines in dynamic mode are found. Engineering formulas for calculating the rates of compression deformation (restoration) of the coating to the corresponding material velocity are obtained. The obtained engineering models allow us to analyze the stress- strain state in the technological contact zone. It is revealed that the patterns of change in the thickness of the roll coating are largely determined by the deformation patterns of the contacting bodies. It is established that the minimum thickness of the roll coating depends on its initial thickness and the gap between the rolls.
