Abstract
This paper presents the results of a study on the application of nuclear-physical methods for analyzing the elemental composition of copper-bearing, gold-bearing and uranium ores and technological products of their processing. The gamma-radiation spectra of technologically important elements for each type of ore and technological products of their processing were studied. The instrumental neutron-activation method of analysis, the neutron-radiation method and the gamma-activation method of analyzing the elemental composition of substances and materials were used. Spectrometric data were obtained and the environmental situation around industrial facilities for toxic and heavy chemical elements was assessed.
