Abstract

This article discusses the religious factor, its role in the policies of states, particularly its historical and current significance in the countries of Southeast Asia, its place in international relations, and how religion serves as a link between the individual and society, and an important factor in achieving consensus in the political system of the global community. Attention is paid to the fact that the cultural and religious factors in international politics are no less important than other factors.
