Abstract

This article thoroughly examines the technologies of underwater communication using electromagnetic waves. Factors influencing the propagation of electromagnetic signals underwater are analyzed, including the electrical conductivity of water, its dielectric properties, and the degree of signal attenuation. Methods of establishing communication using low-frequency electromagnetic waves and their effectiveness are discussed. The article provides a comparative analysis of electromagnetic communication technologies and examines their advantages and disadvantages in underwater environments. It also highlights the significance of electromagnetic communication systems for underwater sensor networks, military and civilian applications, marine research, emergency communication systems, and underwater drones. The article explores modern technologies and prospects for the future utilization of electromagnetic waves in underwater exploration, scientific research, and security systems.
