Abstract

Full-scale monitoring of the condition of the elements of the upper track structure on the roads of JSC "Uzbekistan Temir Yollari" was carried out, particularly the ballast layer of crushed stone and intermediate rail fastenings.Based on the results of taking samples of crushed stone ballast material at 12 sites (minimum 9 at each), sifting through sieves, and visual monitoring of rail fastenings, a graphical interpretation was performed dependence of the granulometric composition of crushed stone on the missed tonnage and the distribution of bonding defects on the missed tonnage. It has been established changes in the granulometric composition of crushed stone in areas depending on the missed tonnage; changes in the granulometric composition do not depend on the operating period; in areas with equal tonnage passed, the granulometric composition has minor differences.Equations were obtained for the dependence of the volume of destroyed fastening elements on the missed tonnage. It is recommended to link the planning of average track repairs to the missed tonnage, as well as the use of equations for the dependence of the volume of destroyed fastening elements on the missed tonnage in planning the required number of fastening elements and replaced sleepers for the current maintenance of the track.
