Abstract

This article examines the volume of water flowing into and out of the Kuyimazar reservoir via its channel.Additionally, it investigates the factors influencing changes in the hydrological regime of the Kuyimazar reservoir.The components of the reservoir's water balance and the alterations in its temperature regime were analyzed.Based on the monitoring data, the working mode of the reservoir was studied.Utilizing historical data spanning a significant timeframe, our analysis uncovers notable fluctuations in the reservoir's hydrological characteristics.Seasonal variations have been identified and scrutinized, particularly in temperature and water levels.Furthermore, correlations between external factors, such as climatic variations and human interventions, and the observed hydrological shifts are explored.
