Influence of ethanol additives on fractional composition of gasoline blends
Abstract
The paper analyzes literary sources related to the adaptation of engines, addressing issues such as changes in the fuel delivery system, ignition system, compression adjustment, and other factors influencing engine performance when using gasoline-alcohol blends. One of the main research directions is determining the optimal gasoline-alcohol fuel ratio by conducting engine testing at various concentrations.Experimental data and results analysis enable the identification of optimal parameters for efficient engine operation with gasoline-alcohol blends.Another crucial aspect of the study involves investigating ethanol concentration in gasoline, which leads to corrosion.Examining the impact of different ethanol concentrations on materials used in the fuel system allows for determining the maximum allowable ethanol concentration to prevent corrosion.
